A collaboration of the best comedy actors: Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Vince Vaughn, Jack Black and Christina Applegate.'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' is a film set in the 1970s at which time women weren't expected to uphold roles/jobs that are as superior as men's. Conflict is therefore caused when Veronica (Applegate), an ambitious journalist joins the San Diego News team, lead by Ron Burgundy the anchorman.
With such a huge comedic cast, the film is very entertaining and funny, it is not really surprising that they've created a sequel. I feel that some parts of the film may not have been entirely necessary, however on the whole I enjoyed the film.
In particular I really think that Steve Carell really stole the limelight with his hilarious role of 'Brick', the thick, clumsy and loveable character who forms part of the news crew.☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
